Once a month during spring semester, Sustainability Education screens a critically acclaimed film about one facet of sustainability. Some films delve deep into familiar issues, while others raise awareness of problems we may never have recognized.
This year the IonE Undergraduate Leaders will be leading the film series, introducing speakers and activities.
Before the film guests are welcome to enjoy a quality meal provided by University Dining Services or partake in a collaborative art project. The film is followed by a brief talk by a representative of a relevant local sustainability organization, after which there is a free exchange of comments and ideas from the audience.
Screenings take place at the Bell Museum on the first Thursday of every month. Pre-film sustainable snacks by University Dining Services will be served at 6:30 pm and the film begins at 7:00.
